Glucosamine sulphate provides precursor molecules necessary for the bionsynthesis of joint cartilage. It has been shown in more than 300 studies to assist in the rebuilding of joint cartilage (Balch PA, “Prescription for nutritional healing, Avery, NY, 2006, p83 also JAMA 2000, 283:1469. MSM is a source of sulphur for the synthesis of sulphur containg amino acids cysteine and methionine. Studies indicate that MSM may inhibit degenerative changes in arthritis (Cancer 1988,62:944).
May assist in maintaining joint mobility.
Not to be used by persons suffering from asthma.

There is some concern that high doses of glucosamine sulphate may enhance the effects of Warfarin (Am J Health Syst Pharm 2004, 62:206, p599).
